Roses and sunshine flood the tournament

Today there were five matches, 11 sets, 106 games, and 492 minutes of play. But what no one could count were the gifted roses and the smiles impossible to hide. Because the magic of Sant Jordi came once again to the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona and the face masks could not hide what   this holiday caused.

A shining sun throughout the day, the hottest day so far of the tournament and that, the good weather, has also contributed to brighten the atmosphere of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell. The players themselves have also been presented with roses (the foreigners who are used to stepping on the Barcelona clay at this time already know the tradition). And, at times, it seemed that everyone forgot about the cold, the vicissitudes that life presents. And even of the pandemic.

Rafa Nadal was seen with a rose in hand, fans and workers or famous visits, like the one from Darko Peric. And it is that the tournament is not understood without a spring day like today, or without the presence of Feliciano López, or the unforgettable shots of the best player in history on clay, or without Sant Jordi and its roses flooding every corner of the tournament.
