Recycle accreditations, another good practice

In a great tournament like the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, with all its dimensions, its facilities and the number of people who can attend, the number of accreditations that are carried out for a large part of the staff and attendees can be hundreds. In previous years there were thousands, in those editions without pandemic, without a reduction in capacity. And the question is simple: Why not recycle all those badges?

This has been another of the good practices that the tournament’s management has implemented within the wide range of sustainable measures to take care of the planet. Because it can be so good to come to RCTB-1899 by bike or use compostable cups such as recycling used or unused badges.

For this reason, on the last day of the competition, it is certain that the bins placed for the purpose of collecting all these accreditations, at the moment in which many leave the facilities, will be filled with these laminated cards. Without a doubt, another step in the right direction.  One more proof that, from the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, the message is clear, tennis and sustainability have to go hand in hand, so that we continue to enjoy the best shots … in a better world.
