Robredo getting ready and awaits his opponent

The former champion of the tournament of 2004, RCTB player and tennis player loved by all the fans who are already coming to see the best clay court tennis, Tommy Robredo, has already made contact with the club’s courts on a sunny day at the who has combined his role as a player who participates in the man draw of the tournament and drew the chips during the ceremony, accompanying the authorities of the club, the tournament and the ATP.

Robredo was one of the first tennis players to jump onto the RCTB practice courts. The player from Hostalrich wants to arrive in the best possible condition for what will be his last professional tournament, a decision which he announced a few days ago in the vineyards of Cavas Vilarnau.

After more than an hour of hard training and the appropriate shower, Robredo took part in the draw ceremony for the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, which was held at the Fun Corner surrounded by the public, friends, and family. After several minutes of uncertainty, Robredo finally selected the chip with his number which drew a player from the qualifying.

In what will be his 17th participation, Robredo himself has confessed during the draw itself: “It is not entirely my last Godó, I will return every year even if it is no longer as a professional, it is my home. I am very happy, very excited and looking forward to what will be my last day as a professional. But, whenever it is, I will enjoy it in front of my people,  my public. And it will be the most beautiful award you can have as a professional”.
