The qualifying draw of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell begins

This Saturday a new edition of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell kicks off with the qualifying draw, which will feature the Bolivian Hugo Dellien as the top seed. The organization of the tournament has granted invitations to four young promises of Spanish tennis to give them the opportunity to debut in one of the most prestigious tournaments on the circuit. Three of the debutants will be players from the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona-1899: Daniel Rincón (2021 US Open Junior champion), Nicolás Álvarez (youngest player in history to achieve an ATP point) and Max Alcalà. Carlos Gimeno will also participate, who was very close last year but lost in the three set in the decider. The matches will start at 10 am and there will be five matches scheduled per court.

Coinciding with the start of the tournament, the draw for the main draw will also be held publicly. The ceremony will take place in the Fan Corner from 12 noon and can be followed by streaming through the tournament’s social networks.
