La Pedrera, tennis court for a day
Those who did not know why the Paseo de Gracia was cut off, next to La Pedrera, could not believe it. Because right there, in front of one of the jewels of Modernism, the organization of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell took Carlos Alcaraz and Felix Auger-Aliassime, numbers 11 and 9 in the world respectively, to be photographed while exchanging a few tennis balls…! and soccer!
Alcaraz, seeded number five in the tournament, captured most of the cheers from the fans, who asked the Murcian tennis player for numerous autographs and selfies. He had no issues in interacting with his admirers.
