Intense day of Tsitsipas before his debut

The top favorite of the tournament, the two time finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas, had a very intense day before his debut in the current edition of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, which will take place tomorrow on the Rafa Nadal court.

Tsitsipas has trained with the intention of keeping intact  his fitness and tennis level that he has shown over the last few days 680 kilometers away in Monte Carlo, the city where he won his second Masters 1000 after beating a brilliant Alexander Davidovich.

In addition to his practice, the Greek tennis player has responded to interview requests from various media outlets, greeting the top personalities of the RCTB and the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, such as Javier Godó, Count of Godó, Jordi Cambra, Xavier Pujol and David Ferrer. After chatting for a few minutes by the pool, in the players’ area, Tsitsipas attended the press conference to assess his career in recent weeks and, above all, his options in this tournament, assuring that, despite the absence of Rafa Nadal, he does not feel “not at all” the favorite to lift the trophy next Sunday.

Despite the busy day, the tennis player who managed to put Rafa Nadal in big problems in last year’s final that lasted 3 hours and 38 minutes, also had time to meet the smallest fans in the Fan Corner, signing autographs, taking numerous ‘ selfies’ and assuring them that he is going to give it his all on the court.
