Alcaraz uses his best weapons to win the title

It seemed that, after an exhausting semi-final, lasting 3 hours and 39 minutes, Carlos Alcaraz did not want or could not play a long final. So he took out all his best weapons and, in one hour and five minutes, became the new champion of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell. Many of the fans who have persevered day after day trying to follow the evolution of Alcaraz, who had to spend hours hoping for the rain to go away, today go home with the memory of a great tournament, a great final and a great champion.

An enormous performance for Pablo Carreño, a RCTB-1899 player who, for the tenth time he played the tournament against his team, has fulfilled his role as one of the favorites  and has made a qualitative leap, since he had never played the final until today. Seeing the tennis and the character of the Asturian tennis player, surely the Carreño surname will appear again in the pools of the favorites to lift the great Conde de Godó trophy.

Alcaraz had never won a match in the main draw of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell and this time he has won five consecutive wins, with which he has won his third title so far this season, after Rio de Janeiro and in the Masters 1000 in Miami. The responsibility, the spotlight and the pressure that he has had to endure throughout the week has not been sufficient to stop the Murcian tennis player.

After the resounding victory by the one who was, “only” and a priori, the fifth seed of the tournament, now everyone asks the same question: Where is the limit for Alcaraz?
