Krawietz and Mies win the contested doubles final

It took two hours and 27 minutes for the Germans Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies to have their names on the list of winners of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell doubles category. A highly disputed final.

Krawietz and Mies have also endured the numerous setbacks generated by the incessant rain these days and, full of patience, have been able to overcome all their rivals, among whom were true specialists in the modality such as Rajeev Ram, Santiago González, Juan Sebastián Cabal, Marcel Granollers, Robert Farah or Horacio Ceballos.

The Germans succeeded the Colombians Cabal and Farah, champions of the tournament in 2021 and 2019. Next year and hopefully without interruptions due to bad weather, the RCTB-1899 courts will once again host real  battles between the best doubles teams of the world.
