Access to the tournament area
The main entrance to the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell - Trofeo Conde de Godó tennis courts is located at the confluence of Bosch i Gimpera and Marqués de Mulhacén streets. The ticket office is also located there, near the "Welcome Office", next to the official transport and the accreditation zone.
Courts 1, 2 and 3
The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell unites Court 1 & 2 of the Real Club Tennis Barcelona to create the tournament’s Pista 1 (Court No. 1). In this way, the tournament meets the expectation that all important matches are held in front of a big crowd. Court No. 1 seats up to 2,000 people.
In total, the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona 1899 has four tennis courts for the tournament. Courts 2 and 3 can seat over 500 people. Seven more courts are reserved for different services. Two are used to implement the stands of the Center Court (Pista Central) and are used for the VIP Village.
There are two big scoreboards: on the Center Court and for courts 1, 2 and 3.
The Center Court, better known as the 'Talisman Court' and Pista Central, has been reconstructed in 2007, increasing the total capacity by 800 places. In 2012, new stands were implemented seating up to 8,400 spectators.
About 61,000 spectators visited the 2012 edition of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell - Trofeo Conde de Godó to see the world's top players live in action.
Godó Commercial Area
Tournament visitors are invited to visit to the commercial area of the tournament, where many brands can promote their products.
There are over one hundred people in charge of the maintenance and cleaning of the tournament area. Our team carefully takes care of the courts during the entire year.
Players appreciate the good manners and courtesy of the Catalan crowd. As at any other major tennis event, some rules need to be followed by the tennis fans:
Do not leave or occupy your seat during the game or the tie-break.
Do not speak or make any sound when the ball is in play.
Do not applaud for service mistakes.
Do not use flash to take pictures.
Keep mobile phones disconnected during the match.
Do not smoke.
The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell - Trofeo Conde de Godó Media Center will attend journalists and photographers from all around the world. The office is managed by a local Media Team and the ATP Press Service.
The Media Team will publish the tournament’s Daily Program in newspaper format and in collaboration with La Vanguardia.
The new Media Center has sufficient space to seat all journalists and photographer, allowing perfect working conditions. There is also a press conference room and restaurant.
The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell - 60 Trofeo Conde de Godó official newspaper, edited in close collaboration with La Vanguardia, informs about the tournament on and off the court. The newspaper is free-of-charge.
RTVE is the host broadcaster of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell - Trofeo Conde de Godó. Spanish tennis fans can watch the tournament on La 1 and Teledeporte.
The Village is an exclusive area for managers, athletes, politicians and VIPs to meet in a pleasant and prestigious environment during the tournament. It is the ideal location for sponsors to promote their brands (access only with invite). The restricted access to the Village is located at Bosch i Gimpera / Cardenal Vives i Tutó.
Located next to Court 1, the club house is the perfect location for lunch and dinner.
