The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell will be presented on March 10 at the Barcelona City Council

The official presentation of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell 2020 will take place on March 10 at the Saló de Cent del Ajuntament de Barcelona. This location which has a great symbolic importance will be the stage of this presentation. The great novelty of the act will be the presence of David Ferrer, the new sports director of the competition, who will premiere his position in a public act after months working on securing players together with the organization.

Josep Oliu, president of Banc Sabadell, and Javier Godó, count of Godó, will attend the presentation, as will the president of the Real Club Tenis Barcelona-1899, Jordi Cambra, and the executive director of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, Xavier Pujol. Waiting to know if the mayor of the city, Ada Colau, will be present, they will be the main figures of the ceremony, in which the official entry list of players for the tournament will be announced.

Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Roberto Bautista and Kei Nishikori are the players who have so far accepted the invitation of the organization. The rest of the main draw participants and those of the qualifying draw will be revealed on March 10.

The doubles entry list will be made public in early April, three weeks before the start of the competition, as indicated by the ATP protocol.

The presentation will be held at 12 noon and among the guests there will be the great Catalan tennis family.
