Jordi Cambra takes possession of the presidency of the Real Club Tenis Barcelona-1899
The new president of the Real Club Tennis Barcelona-1899, Jordi Cambra, has taken possession of his position in a simple act that was held this afternoon in the boardroom of the centenary Barcelonan entity. Cambra was the winner of the elections held on the 18th and 19th of this month and became the new club president, relieving Albert Agustí.
The new Board of Directors, which will take the lead of the club for the next six years, has three vice-presidents, Xavier Ferreón, Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Genaro Millet. The secretary is Sebastián Martínez and the treasurer, José Cuevas. There are 15 board members, and six of them are women: Sònia Roig, Mònica Roura, Sònia Parera, Miriam Pich-Aguilera, Ana Martí, Iris Faull, Álvaro Boter, Juan Antonio Bordas, Salvador Segura, Enric Sanmartí, Xavier Pujol, Josep Costa, Karim Perona, Josep Juanpere and Peter González.
After signing the documents that establishes him as the fifteenth president of the RCTB-1899, Cambra chaired the first meeting of its Board of Directors.
One of the main responsibilities of the Cambra team will be the management of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, Conde de Godó Trophy, which will celebrate its 67th edition in 2019 and which has been the flagship of the club for years.
