World Number 1 Rafa Nadal will contest the 66th Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell once again
The Majorcan tennis player is the first big star to confirm his appearance at the 2018 event, in what will be his 14th appearance. "The Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell is a very important tournament in my calendar and whenever I could I played it since I started to be professional" the player from Manacor said. Last year was special for me winning my tenth title in the Real Club Tenis Barcelona, my tennis club, the tennis club par excellence in Spain. Playing at home is special to me and it is not only an important tournament in my calendar but also in the world tennis calendar, being one of the reference tournaments of clay in the world.
